Welcome to St Nicholas' Church
At the centre of Charlwood for nearly 950 years
St Nicholas' Church stands at the centre of the village and people have been worshipping here since the church was built in c.1080.
The church is within the Diocese of Southwark.
We have now started services in church again but they will not be every week, so please do keep an eye on the News Sheet (below) for the latest dates and times of services etc. and how to connect to services via the telephone.
Although normally the church is open daily for quiet prayer or for you to view this historic building, this is not possible at the moment. However if you would like to visit the church for private prayer please do make contact.
On Friday 16th April the church WILL be open between 6pm and 7pm for anyone wanting to pay their respects to HRH Prince Philip.
If you wish, you can light a candle in remembrance or just sit quietly for a while.
